Bonspiel

The celebratory Bicentenary Bonspiel was held at Murrayfield Curling Rink on Saturday 24th January 2015.  Eight rinks from our club were joined by a further 20 invited rinks to enjoy a day of fun and sport.  Participants had been invited to come along in period dress.  In the evening players and guests came together at the Bicentenary Bonspiel Dinner held at the Edinburgh Capital Hotel.

Bonspiel Winners

Corstorphine ran out clear winners on the day with an impressive shots difference of +15 shots.  ’37 Club’ were in second place on +8 shots, followed by Penicuik 5 on + 8 shots (one end less).  Well done to Dave Carr’s team on gaining one of the prizes.

Grand Club Dinner

The culmination of our celebratory season will be a Dinner for members and their guests at the Peebles Hydro Hotel on Friday 24 April.
