Edinburgh University have a successful weekend!

Four teams from Edinburgh University headed to Stranraer at the weekend for the Scottish Student Sport Curling Championships and what a successful weekend they had with Edinburgh 4, skipped by Callum McLean with Gavin McQuiston 3rd, Sarah Sloan 2nd & Scott Cocker at lead beating Aberdeen 1 in the High Road final.  Not to be outdone, Edinburgh 3, skipped by Jayne Stirling with Alison Fyfe 3rd, Eilidh Yeats 2nd and Lauren Davies (who only started curling this season, so a great achievement) saw off Strathclyde 2 to win the Low Road final. Edinburgh 1 & 2 didn’t make the knockout stages but did a great job supporting the other teams.  A special mention should perhaps go to Callum McLean for his choice of attire!
