Update: Edinburgh International Seniors 2023

Here’s the relevant leagues (Women’s C and Men’s Section B).

 

In the Women’s Section C, there was one game this morning, in which Kate Adams rather made up for her loss last night against Jackie Lockhart’s strong team.  Kate has to wait on the result between Jackie and Barbara Watt this afternoon though, before she knows whether or not she has bagged a place in tomorrow’s semi-final.

 

Meanwhile, the men in Section B had their games this morning and the two semi-final spots are between Philip Wilson, Graeme Connal, Alan McDougall and Andrew Penker.  Graeme has 13 ends, so even if he loses against Philip, you’d think he has enough ends to qualify.  The other three teams are on 11 ends each.  Philip wins or draws and he’s through.  If he loses though, it comes down to ends – tight, tight, tight!
