| About the Club | We are a mixed club, with a mixed age group and a mixed ability. Our games are competitive but fun too!
We play our club league games on a Friday night. We also have a Doubles event on a Sunday afternoon in November and our social on a Saturday in March which is one game followed by a meal. The club also competes in several Curl Edinburgh league competitions and some national events (qualification dependent). Currie and Balerno curling club can trace its history back to two separate and very different clubs, the Currie curling club, instituted in 1830 and the later Balerno curling club which was founded in 1895.
