Edinburgh International Senior Championships 2024

A fantastic weekend of curling at Curl Edinburgh from 15-17 November, as the 2024 Edinburgh International Seniors Curling Championships took place.

Over the first two days 16 men’s teams and 8 women’s teams competed to qualify for the Semi-Finals.

In the men’s Semi-Finals, which both went to an extra end, Team Duff lost out to Team Connal while Team Hare lost out to Team Cormack.

In the women’s Semi-Finals, Team Adams lost out to Team Lockhart while Team Wyllie lost out to Team Kennedy.

In the Finals, it was the women’s turn to go to an extra end, with Team Lockhart making the key final shot to retain their women’s title.

In the men’s final it was all over after 5 ends, with Team Connal winning.

Thanks to all the competitors, organisers, and staff for making it a success.

Dates for next season are yet to be confirmed, but it will return in November 2025. It would be great to welcome more international teams next year, so pencil this into your calendar and email us your interest for updates.
