Open Pairs summary

Eight teams took part in our Open Pairs competition on Saturday 29 October. Among the membership taking part was 13 year old Amy Seftor, reigning Open Pairs champion Adam Keron, and Olympic silver medalist Bruce Mouat. The winners would qualify to represent Edinburgh at the Scottish Pairs Championship in Stranraer at the end of the season.

After some exciting games the final saw Graeme and Nigel Patrick compete against Frazer Shaw and Adam Keron. The final swung in favour of both teams and after six ends of great shot-making they could not be separated so it went to an extra end, with Frazer and Adam being declared champions.
